Buy here and ship there

Have you ever had to buy that no so perfect gift for your second cousin twice removed? Have you ever had to stand in line at the post office the week before Christmas just so your gift will get there on time? Don't know what to buy for that person who has everything?

Fear no more! There are several ways to buy and ship locally. Etsy is a great way to purchase unique locally made gifts from candles to soaps to cat toys. Almost anything you can imagine. Plus you can ship it to anywhere. Another great way to buy local and ship is Byrd Cookie Company. They have a wide variety of Savannah inspired souviners. It's not just cookies, cheese biscuits and gift baskets, they also offer Savannah Bee Honey, Paula Deen, and many more.

There are so many local businesses with web sites that would be happy to take care of the shipping for you for a small shipping fee. All you need to do is pick up the phone and ask or visit their website and send them an email. This is Savannah, you know. We will do anything to keep our friends and customers happy and returning for more! :)

For all of you girlie girls in Savannah

There are three levels of shopping that I love to do downtown:
1. Budget: Red Clover at 53 Montgomery Street~

Red Clover is a ladies boutique located in the Downtown Historic area of Savannah, GA. Leah Lancaster and Thu Tran started the boutique in September of 2007 with the idea of offering the newest looks at affordable prices. You’ll find fun and unique pieces that make your look come together in a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere. The shop also offers a wide selection of accessories and gift items from the talented pool of local designers.

2. Splurge: James Gunn at 115 West Broughton Street

James Gunn opened its retail doors to the beautiful city of Savannah in July of 2005. Originally recognized for its bright, resort wholesale line of clothing and accessories, James Gunn has added retail to its name. The store, located on Broughton Street in the heart of historic downtown Savannah, is a little funky & lots of fun! With new lines and new arrivals everyday, James Gunn is always exciting & in style!

3. Wish upon a Star!: Bleu Belle at 30 W Broughton Street

Heather Kaney Burge started BleuBelle Boutique in 2003 in a small retail space on West Broughton Street. Due to the overwhelming response and skyrocketing sales in the first year, Heather relocated to a new, larger space down the street. With many happy repeat customers as well as increased tourist traffic, BleuBelle Boutique continues to be the number one source for contemporary fashion in Savannah.

BleuBelle has expanded with the 2006 opening of BleuBelle Bridal. With access to two stores, a woman can fulfill her fashion needs from her teen years to her wedding through her career and onto middle age! And both BleuBelle locations continue to provide a level of customer service thought long vanished.

about 30 small businesses from clothing, art, home decor, bed and bath linens, old and new furniture and many more unique shops. Please remember these great shops when you venture out to purchase holiday decorations, holiday gifts, holiday food and anything holiday you can dream! Visit the Downtown Design District on your next afternoon of shopping fun!
